God is the Creator of the earth and everything in it. He is perfectly holy and just and righteous. He created man and woman in His image. He created us to live in perfect harmony with each other and with Him, then our original parents (Adam and Eve) rebelled against God and ushered sin into the world and as descendants of Adam and Eve, we have all participatedin this sin, and because of our sin, God can rightly deal with us by giving us His wrath and ultimately separating us from Him forever, But God didn't leave us to our own devices, instead, the Son of God entered the world and took on flesh and became Jesus Christ. He lived the perfect life that we could not live In our place, and He died the death that we deserve. He lay dead in that tomb for three days, and on that third day, and by the power of the Spirit, He rose again, proving His sacrifice acceptable in the eyes of the Father. Our response to this good news about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is repentance and faith. Repentance is turning from our sin, and faith is placing our hope in Jesus as our Savior. Repent and believe today.
